Colorful Fall Decor

I’m getting ready to decorate my home for autumn, I’ve got quite a bit of seasonal decor already but every year I like to add a few more pieces. This year I decided to make some colorful felted acorns.

I had the kids help me scour the yard for acorns. Once I had enough I cleaned them and removed the caps.

Because I am not a felter I ordered the felt balls from Handbehg FELTS on Etsy.

I added a dollop of hot glue to the inside of the acorn cap and then stuck a felt ball in each one, holding until the glue cooled.

My favorites are the ones with the attached caps.

Then I filled an apothecary jar with the acorns to display on my mantle.

Super easy and super cute!
