Give Thanks Garland {Tutorial}

I didn’t have any intentions of creating anything tonight. Certainly not a craft and most definitely not a tutorial about a craft. But then this came in the mail.

And as I flipped through I came across this Merry Christmas garland.

How simple and sweet. But Christmas is so far off, I wanted to make and display one now!

Out came the craft paper, the Silhouette SD, the distressing ink, the ribbon, and the double sided tape.

A tutorial was born.

First cut out your scalloped rectangles, add one letter per rectangle.

Then cut out the leaves (wow horrible layout, what a waste of paper!).

Rub the edges of the leaves and the rectangles on the distressing ink pad.

Thread the ribbon through the cut out holes of your rectangles.

Use the double sided tape to adhere the leaves onto the rectangles.

Hang and admire.
