Paleo Menu Plan 12/29

Is it Sunday afternoon already?  It’s rainy, cold, and gloomy today and gravity won’t allow me to get off my couch.  I did at least work out before I planted myself here.

I decided to only plan for 6 meals because one night we usually just eat leftovers.  This is also the final meal plan before I start the 21 Day Sugar Detox.

Don’t let last week’s meal plan fool you, I’ve been way less than perfect this last week and it’s time to get back on track.

Monday – Crispy Italian Chicken with roasted carrots and sauteed green beans

Italian crispy chicken from #stupideasypaleo #paleo

Tuesday – Paleo Meatloaf with mashed cauliflower

Wednesday – Shrimp scampi over spaghetti squash

I follow these directions from The Clothes Make the Girl blog and my spaghetti squash come out PERFECT every time.

Thursday – clean out the fridge, it’s leftover night!

Friday – Paleo Pad See Ew

Saturday – Chicken Cacciatore with garden salad dressed with EVOO and fresh squeezed lemon juice

Sunday – Paleo Beef Stew

All links are web recipes – holla!

  1. Okay, Shirley. Today I have eaten an egg omelet, turkey bacon and blueberries. HELP ME. How did you get started??

    • that’s not a lot of food Cheryl! On a typical day I will eat 2 slices of uncured bacon (none of that turkey “bacon” for me) and then two fried eggs cooked in bacon fat or a 3 egg omelete with spinach and broccoli. Lunch will usually be leftovers from the night before or something like a huge veggie salad with lettuce, cuces, tomatoes, shredded carrot, 1/2 avocado, boiled egg and at least 4 oz protein, dinner will be a protein source and veggie and I really do eat these menu item I post here. The whole9 blog and their book It Startw with Food and balanced bites 21 day sugar detox are great sources of infomation. Also marks daily apple and his book The Primal Blueprint.

      • I will check all of those out — THANK YOU! My biggest obstacle (aside from withdrawals) is going to be that I don’t eat any red meat. I really, really, really want 2014 to be my year; I need to for my own health issues. Have you also reduced gluten? Thanks Shirley; you are a wonderful inspiration.

    • Oh and I dress my salads with just some olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon and salt and pepper. Super Easy!
